About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to help protect enterprise IT environments from evolving cyber threats. Working on client projects across a range of industries, you'll collaborate with security operations, infrastructure, cloud, networking, and application teams to monitor security events, respond to incidents, manage vulnerabilities, and strengthen overall cybersecurity resilience.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts using SIEM and security monitoring platforms.
Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and security events.
Perform threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis.
Analyze malware, phishing attempts, and suspicious network activity.
Support identity and access management (IAM) processes.
Monitor and maintain endpoint, cloud, network, and email security controls.
Conduct security assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure infrastructure and applications.
Assist with security audits, compliance reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Develop incident reports, security documentation, and operational procedures.
Promote cybersecurity awareness and security best practices.
Stay current with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security operations.
Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, or other industry security frameworks.
Experience with SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools.
Understanding of cloud security, networking, Windows, Linux, and Active Directory.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, incident response, and communication skills.
Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, GIAC, Microsoft Azure Security, or AWS Security are considered an asset.
Experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or managed security services environment is highly regarded.
