Demand Planner

Our client, a leading organization in the consumer packaged goods industry, is seeking a Demand Planner to join their team. As a Demand Planner, you will be part of the Supply Chain department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Demand Planner

Location: Brantford, ON

Pay Range: $40 to $45 based on experience

Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (37.5 hours)

What's the Job?

• Lead collaboration calls with key sales accounts to review and adjust the 4-13 week forecast based on customer inputs
• Act as a key player in the S&OE process to ensure our 4-13 weeks plans are reflective of short-term adjustments
• Participate in Step 1&2, collaborating with Design Planner and bringing short-term forecast insights to cross-functional teams
• Analyze historical and short-term future demand inputs and calculate their impacts on demand
• Make recommendations to enhance business processes, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of education
• Experience in the CPG industry
• Experience with planning applications such as SAP, APO, Kinaxis
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
