I am currently partnering with a growing organization operating within the manufacturing and business technology industry that is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives and drive user adoption across the organization.

Mission

As an IT Project Manager, you will oversee technology projects from planning to deployment while ensuring employees successfully embrace and utilize the solutions delivered. You will serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading end-to-end IT projects involving custom-built applications, SAP environments, and commercial software platforms.
Acting as the primary liaison between developers, business users, and external vendors.
Driving change management initiatives, including training, user communications, documentation, and adoption strategies.
Gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable priorities for technical teams.
Supporting troubleshooting efforts for medium-complexity technology issues and coordinating escalations when necessary.
Managing project timelines, budgets, scope, and stakeholder expectations.
Leveraging AI-powered tools such as Claude and similar platforms to improve productivity, documentation, and analysis.
Monitoring adoption metrics and continuously improving solution effectiveness across the business.

Your profile

Proven experience managing IT projects within environments that combine custom-developed and commercial software solutions.
Hands-on SAP experience, including implementation, rollout, or support activities.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated success driving change management and user adoption initiatives.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, APIs, and system integrations.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Jira, MS Project, Asana, or comparable project management tools.
Strong understanding of Windows environments; Linux exposure is considered an asset.
PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar project management certification is an asset.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), Power BI, PowerShell, or Python is considered an advantage.
