Veterinary technician.

Bronson Veterinary Clinic seeking a full-time and/or part-time veterinary technicians, New Graduates encouraged to Apply.

Responsibilities:

Handling, restraining, and caring for animals during examinations and treatments, triage, history taking, consent forms, assessing in emergencies and medical records keeping.
Assisting veterinarians with surgical procedures, including preparing the surgical area, monitoring anesthesia and recovery of surgical patients, and cleaning up afterward.
Preparing and administering medications, vaccines and treatments as directed.
Performing diagnostic procedures like taking X-rays, collecting and analyzing samples, and conducting lab tests.
Educating and advising clients on animal health care, nutrition, and home care.
Performing routine dental procedures and other specialized tasks.
Able to physically restraint and carry small animals of different sizes and weights and must be comfortable around different pets of different behavior, ability to work around all species of animals safely, ability to provide a services in a safe manner, including but not limited to, lift and transfers of large animals and interaction with potentially aggressive animals, able to work as a part of veterinary team members and be professional dealing with clients compassionately especially during stressful and grieving times .
Assisting veterinarians with house call services at the pets place if residence.

Educational requirements:

Degree in veterinary technology, RVT or eligibility and enrollment in RVT program.

Experience requirements:

Experienced and and New Graduates, mentorship available
