Executive Housekeeper

Wanakena Motel is located at 815 E. Hwy 16, Burns Lake, BC V0J 1E0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Executive Housekeeper. If you are interested, please submit your application by email or mail.

Position: Executive Housekeeper
Wage: CAD$23.86 per hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
Direct and oversee the operations of housekeeping department
Co-ordinate and supervise the housekeeping staff
Plan and prepare staff work schedules
Inspect to ensure motels cleaning standards and health & safety regulations are met
Select and order housekeeping equipment and supplies to ensure staff have proper tools for work
Maintain inventory
Co-ordinate maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery
Hire and train housekeeping staff
Maintain financial records and prepare budgets, payrolls

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required
Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience as a cleaning supervisor is required
A university degree or college diploma in hospital management, hotel management or business administration is an asset
Language at work: English
