I'm currently looking for an Instrumentation & Controls Technician to join a well-established manufacturing company in Marieville, where equipment reliability and production uptime are key priorities.

Mission

Troubleshoot electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment.
Install, program, modify, repair and maintain plant systems.
Perform calibration, inspection and testing of instrumentation and control systems.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, control diagrams and technical documentation.
Troubleshoot and make modifications to PLCs and control systems.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and production-related issues.
Diagnose faults quickly to minimize production downtime.
Repair, modify and reassemble electrical panels and distribution equipment.
Participate in equipment installations, upgrades and modifications.
Perform lockout/tagout procedures in accordance with safety requirements.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Work closely with the maintenance and production teams.

Your profile

DEC in Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Technology, Computer Systems, Physical Engineering, Avionics or equivalent training.
Valid Québec Certificate in Electricity (CÉ) - Emploi-Québec.
Experience troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control diagrams.
Knowledge of PLCs and industrial control systems.
Comfortable working with electrical equipment at various voltages.
Good manual dexterity and physical ability to perform hands-on work.
Autonomous, reliable and resourceful.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Able to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
