Material Handling Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handling Operator to join their team. As a Material Handling Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handling Operator

Location: Québec, QC

Pay Range: $21.28

Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Accept incoming goods and compare them with shipping documents (material number, description, quantity).
• Check incoming goods for visible damage, document findings, and provide necessary information.
• Ensure correct use of transport equipment such as industrial trucks and forklifts.
• Capture relevant data in data processing systems accurately.
• Organize acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area and record them properly.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in material handling or a related field.
• Ability to operate transport equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and stock maintenance.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and order assembly.
• Basic data entry skills and familiarity with data processing systems.
