Package Sorter

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution organization, is seeking a Package Sorter to join their team. As a Package Sorter, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Package Sorter

Location: London, ON

Pay Range: $18

Shift: Monday to Wednesday 1:30am-9:00am, Thursday and Friday 2:00am-9:00am

What's the Job?

• Unload all curbside vehicles efficiently and safely
• Load line haul trailers to ensure all pre-scheduled departures are met
• Scan, cube, and reweigh packages accurately
• Build positive relationships with team members including couriers, lead hands, and sorters
• Work with conveyor and roller belts inside trailers, cargo containers, and package vehicles

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs throughout the shift
• Physical fitness and awareness of the physical nature of the role
• Reliable and punctual behavior with regular attendance
• Strong team spirit, customer orientation, and communication skills
• Steel toe boots and adaptability to working nights and overtime as needed
