Position: Restaurant Manager
Work Hours: 30-40 hours (Day, Weekend, Holidays, Flexible hours required)
Wage: $38.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, 3 years contract
Start date: ASAP
Benefits: Staff meals, Year-end bonus
Vacation: 4% vacation pay

Key duties and Responsibilities
Plan and direct daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient, consistent service and a high standard of guest satisfaction
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house staff, cultivating a professional team committed to authentic Thai hospitality
Oversee food quality, plating standards, cleanliness, and compliance with all applicable health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Coordinate closely with the kitchen to ensure timely, seamless service and consistent quality of authentic Thai cuisine
Manage inventory of ingredients, beverages, and supplies, and maintain effective supplier relationships to control costs without compromising quality
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, and identify opportunities to enhance the overall dining experience
Monitor sales performance, control operating costs and support budgeting and profitability objectives
Coordinate with marketing personnel, as needed, for marketing strategies, including social media, local advertising, and community partnerships to strengthen customer engagement
Ensure compliance with restaurant policy and applicable licensing/provincial regulations
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the restaurant's commitment to exceptional hospitality and service
Requirements/Education and other requirements
+3 years of experience in the food service/restaurant industry, including supervisory experience is required
Completion of post-secondary program in hospitality, F&B management, or related field is a strong asset
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Excellent leadership and teamwork skills with a strong customer service focus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Sound knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Serving It Right Certificate is required
