POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Located in a prime location, the Lumia private retirement residence offers an exceptional quality of life. This unique place combines the vibrancy of city life with the friendly atmosphere and convenience of a neighborhood.

Permanent part-time position, evening shift (4:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.)
Must speak ENGLISH and FRENCH

Salary: $19/hour

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in ensuring resident and staff safety in the dinning room by enforcing compliance with health and safety standards
• Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
• Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
• Greet clients and orient new residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table
• Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
• Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort
• Perform other related duties
• Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
• Good team player
• Good communication
• Knowledge of senior residences, a major asset
