As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will help protect an organization's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. You will monitor security alerts, investigate potential risks, respond to incidents, and implement security measures to keep information safe. You will work with IT teams to identify vulnerabilities, recommend improvements, and ensure security policies and industry standards are followed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, staying up to date with emerging threats, and helping organizations maintain a secure digital environment.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Experience with security monitoring and threat detection tools
Und erstanding of firewalls, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection
Knowledge of network security and cloud security concepts
Ability to identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents
Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and risk management
Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience in cybersecurity, network securint y, or information security
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and cloud environments
Experience performing vulnerability assessments and security audits
Understanding of incident response and disaster recovery processes
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or similar are an asset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data security
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Legal authorization to work in Canada or eligibility to obtain it.
