Forklift Operator I

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator I to join their team. As a Forklift Operator I, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting production and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator I

Location: Markham, ON

Pay Rate: $17.16

Shift: Days (17:00-04:30)

What's the Job?

• Perform picking, packing, kitting, staging, and replenishment of materials and components.
• Support putaway of inbound freight to designated storage locations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, bin audits, and physical inventory participation.
• Sort, organize, and label freight, pallets, and storage locations according to warehouse standards.
• Safely operate Reach Truck, pallet jack, and other powered material handling equipment (valid certification required).

What's Needed?

• Valid Reach Truck / Forklift Certification required.
• 1-3 years experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling preferred.
• SAP experience or ability to learn inventory systems quickly.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
