Our client, a leading organization in the financial services sector, is seeking an Account Payable professional to join their team. As an Account Payable specialist, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Payables team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payables

Location: Toronto, ON

Pay Rate: $17.86

What's the Job?

Perform daily reconciliations of assigned Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) accounts.
Match invoices with appropriate supporting documents to ensure accuracy.
Review and verify invoice payment information within the relevant systems.
Obtain necessary approvals for invoices and prepare payments via cheques or wire transfers.
Ensure billing and currency exchange rates are accurate before forwarding to clients or agents.

What's Needed?

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and internet applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
