Shop Assistant, Fleet Management

A General Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties. Responsibilities may include such things as yard clean-up,and other related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety, equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties.
• Abilities to work in the shop alongside mechanics on our fleet
• Attend Household Hazardous Waste collection events
• Physically load and unload containerized waste from straight trucks and van trailer
• Exhibit a professional demeanor, manner and appearance. Represent the Company by providing professional customer service to our clients, customers and vendors at all times.
• General shop clean-up and maintenance
• Maintain yard cleanliness, snow and ice removal, and sweeping
• Participate in monthly safety meetings. Identify and report all workplace injuries, incidents and potential hazards immediately to your supervisor.
• Participate in all work-related tasks as assigned by your supervisor at a variety of locations in a safe and effective manner.
• Perform
• labour tasks as required
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license.
• Ability to manually lift up to 50lbs regularly.
• Able to perform confirmed space entry tasks.
• Comfortable working at heights
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
