Canada Custom Autoworks is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry. We're expanding our accounting team and are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join us.
What You'll Do
As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our accounting department. Your responsibilities will include:
Answering incoming phone calls and assisting with general inquiries
Filing and organizing accounting and administrative documents
Supporting year-end procedures by gathering documents such as capitalized invoices, insurance policies, lease agreements, and other relevant files
Assisting the Accounts Payable team, including:
Receiving and billing purchase orders
Opening vendor accounts
Statement reconciliation
Entering and paying vendor bills
Communicating with store locations
Assisting with Payroll by:
Issuing ROEs
Collecting employee documents
Gathering employee hours
Providing administrative support to the COO, Director of Operations, Controller, and Assistant Controller as needed
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in accounting, payroll, or administrative roles is ideal
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive and team-oriented attitude
