Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Unloader to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the shipping and receiving process, ensuring that products are unloaded, organized, and prepared for distribution. This position requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload materials from trucks and containers using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks.
Accurately pick orders and ensure proper documentation for shipping and receiving.
Maintain organization of the warehouse by properly storing products in designated areas.
Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline processes and improve efficiency in materials handling.
Assist in inventory management by conducting regular counts and reporting discrepancies.
Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and performing heavy lifting tasks.

Requirements

Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles is preferred.
Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is a plus.
Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely is a big plus.
Mechanical knowledge to assist with basic maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures.
Physically fit and experience with materials handling, including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a leadership role is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
