Furlong Steel is looking for a Rough Terrain Mobile Crane Operator to work in our Calgary yard assisting with the assembly of industry oil and gas projects, Furlong Steel is a locally owned operated manufacturing company that specializes in Structural and Process Piping.

Requirements

- Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience operating a 15T RT Crane.

- Experience working with the construction of oil and gas projects

- Able to work safely outdoors in all weather conditions and assure the safety of the crew equipment and environment

- Ability to in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with fellow coworker and third-party contractor

- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

- Conduct pre operation inspections of equipment and rigging, complete at inspection forms and pre lift plans

- Operate equipment in a safe manner and be aware of all hazards

- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and care of yard equipment

- Willing to assist where needed with the assembly of yard projects

- The unloading and loading of manufacturing materials and out going project equipment

Additional information

- Shift is Monday to Friday, weekends as needed.

- Start time, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, overtime as needed
