Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) and be proficient in various software applications. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of design projects, collaborating closely with engineers and architects to create detailed drawings and schematics that meet project specifications.

Duties
Create and modify detailed CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation.
Develop schematics and layouts for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into design revisions.
Utilize tools like NavisWorks and Civil 3D for project visualization and coordination.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports.
Maintain organized files and documentation for all design projects.
Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions related to design work.

Experience
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Sketchup, NavisWorks, MicroStation, and Civil 3D is essential.
Experience in creating detailed designs and schematics for engineering or architectural projects is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
A background in engineering or architecture is a plus but not mandatory; relevant certifications will be considered an asset.
