Job Overview
We are seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage all incoming and outgoing shipments in a warehouse setting. Candidate must have SAP experience and be flexible to support other Operational functions from time to time

Job Responsibilities:

Generate Bills of Lading (BOL's) and validate documentation accuracy vs transportation planning
Inspect for damage and verify inbound and outbound goods against invoices or other documents (Qty, Batch, Material).
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies and drum lifters.
Loading/unloading trucks
Where needed contact couriers and prepare other shipping documents
Support inventory control, cycle counts and stock rotation
Support production where shipping and receiving demands permit
General housekeeping for production and warehouse
Other duties as required Select, label and box/palletize goods for shipping (cans, pails and drums).

Qualifications and Skills:

High School diploma or equivalency
Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience or shipper/receiver experience preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 25 kg and move drums using ergonomic equipment
Forklift experience and valid license (counterbalance/standup reach) an asset
Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office and ability to learn in house systems.
Knowledge of SAP would be an asset
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills
TDG and WHMIS certification would be an asset, or at minimum prior working experience.
Bilingual
Experience with Customs documentation creation would be an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.50-$21.00 per hour
