Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Sous Chef will play a crucial role in maintaining our restaurant's standards of excellence while fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including menu planning and food preparation.
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety practices in accordance with health regulations.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling, and service excellence.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained properly and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.

Experience
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
Experience in restaurant management, including team management and staff training.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Familiarity with bartending is a plus but not required.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy kitchen environment.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
