Current Opportunity:

TACC Construction Ltd. is seeking a well-rounded, long-term, full-time qualified and licensed Crawler Crane Operator, preferably living in the west end of the GTA. The successful candidate will be competitively compensated and responsible for various duties which include:

operating crane to precisely lift, move, position or place equipment and materials in a timely manner.
listening and carrying out instructions given from ground crew.
performing pre-operational inspection and calculating crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
inspecting machinery and equipment to make sure they function properly.
following safety guidelines and protocols.
reviewing a daily schedule and following specific instructions for loading items.
identifying defective parts on malfunctioning cranes and following proper safety guidelines and procedures, reporting any potentially unsafe practices.

Qualifications:

_ Must haves: _

339A License
A valid drivers G license, own a vehicle, and willing to commute to and from work locations
In-depth knowledge and practice of OSHA safety standards and precautions
Good health and physical condition
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Works well independently and collaboratively on small or large-scale projects

_ Good to have: _

Experience in sewer or watermain projects

Education Requirement:

Trade certification 339A
