Farlinger & Associates Ltd. is a Canadian owned and operated civil construction company. We offer exemplary construction and maintenance services across western Canada and operate out of our office, in Sherwood Park, Alberta. As we continue to grow, Farlinger & Associates is looking for a laborer for out of town projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: Minimum + one year of civil construction industry experience

Requirements

Team player, willing to work with others
Physically fit - strength and stamina
Good oral communication skills and command of the English language
Willing to learn new skills
Capable of working with minimal oversight
Valid driver's license
Basic understanding of construction principles and safety procedures
Possess appropriate safety certificates such as First Aid and CSTS
Willing to travel for out of town projects (including weekends)
Access to reliable transportation
Pass a required pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools
Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles
Ground Disturbance, H2S Alive, UTV Training certification

This is an hourly position and rate will be in accordance with the successful candidate's abilities, skills and experience.
