Join Our Team

We are seeking a Regional Manager, Pre-Kindergarten to join our Child Care team. The Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery and expansion of quality Pre-Kindergarten programs and services for their region. The Regional Manager, Pre-Kindergarten is also responsible for providing subject matter expertise (SME) support to the YMCA. They will provide direct leadership, support, and supervision to Pre-Kindergarten staff (including administrative staff) and volunteers. You would be responsible for overseeing the quality of program delivery, facilities/equipment and regulatory and stakeholder relationships. Access to a vehicle and a valid Newfoundland driver's license is required for this position, as there is travel involved. This position is based out of St. John's with an expected start date of September 1, 2025. Province-wide travel required as needed.

Job Requirements

Early Childhood Education with Level 3 Preschool, Pre-K, School Age (preferred) however; Level 2 Preschool, Pre-K, School Age will be considered based on centre based experience
Experience working in early learning and school environments
Experience with licensing policies, regulations and supervising staff
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Child Care Management experience
Experience in scheduling, program development, and financial planning
Current Standard First Aid
Previous Administrator experience is considered an asset
Valid Newfoundland drivers licence and regular access to an insured vehicle
Ability to travel regularly between sites
Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Checks are reviewed on an individual basis
