Restorative Wellness is currently seeking Family Life and Youth Support Workers that are ready to work alongside an amazing team of people that are passionate about seeing our people flourish. Restorative Wellness combines clinical judgement with compassion and hope to create therapeutic living environments in which goals are realized, and hope and health are restored. Our clinical team and organization are composed of experts in a variety of fields including Behaviour Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Clinical Psychology. Family Life and Youth Support Workers support youth and adults with challenging behaviours, a history of profound trauma and loss, neurodiverse diagnoses, and attachment difficulties. Working in a residential setting, our team implements our Guiding Principles, providing for the social-emotional and physical needs of our clients through assisting with daily living skills, implementing therapeutic goals to increase independence and regulation. We are looking for aspiring mental health professionals to join this exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will have an understanding of complex trauma, mental health diagnoses including psychosis, attachment, addiction, developmental disabilities, and trauma reactive behaviours. You will be expected to: -Implement provided therapy programming and goals -To implement individualized education plans -Follow direction of our Clinical team -Work with learners 1:1 in an in home setting -Work independently and as part of a team -Document client and goal progress -Communicate session summary to family -Work under pressure in high energy environments -Abide by Footholds policies and code of ethics -Attend staff meetings and training sessions in evenings or mornings -Demonstrate social, behavioural, and communication skills Preferred applicants will have SIVA Training, MANDT, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and a diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care, Psychology, or a related field. To work with children in care you must be 19 yrs of age or older to apply
