Prime HR is recruiting a Construction Operations Manager on behalf of one of our established clients in the residential construction sector. This fully remote role is ideal for a dynamic and driven professional who can manage complex operations, lead a small team, and oversee multiple construction projects from start to finish.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is solutions-oriented, and has a proven track record of managing teams and projects with many moving parts. This role requires strong leadership, excellent coordination skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead a remote team of 4 staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management
Coach and support team members to overcome challenges and build their capacity to work independently and effectively
Manage and coordinate multiple active construction projects and schedules remotely
Take full ownership of the project lifecycle - from planning and mobilization to final completion
Identify obstacles and implement practical solutions to keep projects on track
Manage all permitting and approval processes, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with municipal regulations
Source and procure construction materials, manage inventory, and coordinate delivery schedules to align with project timelines
Maintain effective relationships with trade contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality and timely service
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, resource needs, and project metrics
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, environmental standards, and organizational policies
Monitor project budgets, control costs, and identify areas for operational efficiency
Facilitate virtual site meetings and ensure clear documentation and follow-up on action items
Develop and maintain streamlined workflows and reporting systems for better visibility and accountability

Qualifications:
Must have direct construction experience - preferably in residential or multi-unit projects; applications without relevant construction experience will not be considered
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
Experience leading teams in a remote or hybrid environment
Strong working knowledge of residential construction practices
Demonstrated success in managing permitting and compliance processes
Skilled in material sourcing, logistics coordination, and working with trades
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Tech-savvy with experience using project management and construction tracking tools

Pay: $60,986.37-$80,000.00 per year
