Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with the ability to work on various types of vehicles and heavy duty equipment. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

Perform diagnostic assessments on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Utilize power tools and equipment to assemble, disassemble, and repair vehicle components.
Conduct routine maintenance checks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Work with cranes and other heavy lifting equipment to facilitate repairs on larger vehicles or machinery.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining safety standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology, including HVAC systems.

Requirements

Proven experience in automotive repair or related fields, with a strong mechanical aptitude.
Familiarity with industrial equipment and the ability to operate power tools safely.
Experience working with Caterpillar machinery is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs or maintenance tasks.
Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications may be beneficial but are not mandatory.

Pay: $38.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
