Overview
Our Experienced Drywall Installer teams are skilled professionals responsible for the accurate and efficient installation of drywall in various residential, commercial, and/or multi-family construction projects. This role requires advanced knowledge of drywall materials, tools, and installation methods, as well as the ability to perform tasks independently or as part of a team. The installer ensures a high level of craftsmanship, maintaining quality standards while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues on the job site.

Key Responsibilities :

Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings according to project specifications.
Install drywall using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment.
Ensure drywall is properly fastened, applying screws or nails with precision.
Follow blueprints and layout instructions to ensure correct drywall placement and alignment.
Own, operate and maintain tools and equipment safely, adhering to company safety standards.
Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.
Inspect finished drywall work for quality control, addressing any issues or defects.
Communicate effectively with other team members and contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
Handle, store, and dispose of materials according to environmental regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a drywall installer or in a similar construction or renovation role.
Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques, tools, and materials
Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools specific to drywall installation.
Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy drywall sheets and materials.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction work.
Ability to solve problems and address issues as they arise on the job site.
Own tools and vehicle required
2+ years of experience in drywall installation, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex tasks.

Work Environment :

This position involves working in various environments, including residential, commercial, and/or multi-family buildings.
Work may require standing, bending, lifting, and the use of ladders or scaffolding.
Exposure to dust, noise, and other construction-related hazards.

Compensation :

Competitive piecework rates
Paid twice monthly
