Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety protocols, as well as the ability to handle various types of freight.

Duties
Operate commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles, including basic automotive repairs when necessary.
Operate heavy equipment or forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
Experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight handling procedures.
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Basic automotive repair skills are a plus to assist with vehicle maintenance.
Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
