Stony Valley Contracting Ltd. is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our aggregate crushing team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in the crushing industry, with the potential to grow into more advanced roles.

Duties
Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, and Caterpillar machinery to perform various construction tasks.
Assist in horizontal drilling operations, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
Dig, build, and pave as required for different project specifications.
Maintain and inspect equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety regulations.
Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications
Previous experience in labor or construction roles is preferred.
Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including graders and bulldozers.
Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Physically fit and ready to work in demanding outdoor environments, including harsh weather and remote pit sites.
Willing to learn all aspects of crushing operations, from maintenance to production.
Team-oriented, safety-conscious, and dependable.
Flexible with work hours, including extended shifts and weekend availability as required.

Bonus Qualifications (Not Mandatory but Highly Valued):
Previous experience in the aggregate industry , particularly with crushing equipment .
Familiarity with plant maintenance, screening, conveyors, loaders, or skid steers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 - 68 per week
