Summary

We are seeking a skilled Erection Manager to join our team. This role is essential for overseeing projects, ensuring quality control, and managing resources effectively. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in driving our growth while maintaining our commitment to safety and excellence.

Responsibilities
Oversee erection construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
On site kick off meeting for large scale erection projects
Scheduling sub contractors and employees to meet project dead lines
Implement CWB quality control measures to maintain high standards of work.
Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
Supervise and mentor team members (Iron workers, welders), fostering a collaborative work environment.
Review schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Working with the estimating team to review large scale erection quotes.

Requirements
Journeyman certification in ironworking
Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
Strong budgeting skills with the ability to manage project finances effectively.
Excellent knowledge of CWB quality control processes within the construction industry.
Familiarity with construction management software
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
Strong supervisory skills with experience leading teams in a construction environment.
Willingness to travel 50% (May be required)
Filling in onsite for employees when required
