We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Log Haul/Loader Supervisor to oversee daily operations involving log hauling and loading activities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of logging operations, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate log haul and loader crews to ensure timely and efficient operations.
Manage loading activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, weight limits, and quality standards.
Schedule trucks and maintain communication with drivers and contractors.
Monitor and inspect equipment to ensure proper maintenance and functionality.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve any operational or personnel issues that arise.

Qualifications

Previous supervisory experience in log haul or loader operations preferred.
Strong understanding of forestry equipment, loading techniques, and transportation regulations.
Valid driver's license (Class 1 preferred, if applicable).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proven ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to the forestry industry.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
