Seeking a hard working individual willing to grow with the company. Currently a family ran business with one employee but looking to hire another person for a full time position to fill gaps as we are rapidly growing.

Individual must have a Class 5 license with Air Brake endorsement, or a Class 3 license with an acceptable drivers abstract. Minimum 3 years operating commercial vehicles is a must. Insurance must be verified. Must be a confident and aware driver as you will have to navigate large trucks through tight areas. Job will mainly consist of residential garbage and recycling collection (Monday - Friday). This would be a semi automated truck, meaning that you would manually roll the carts to the tipper on the truck or may need to be hand unloaded. This would mean you would may be expected to lift up to 50lbs. You would then be operating a hooklift/roll off truck/rear load dumpster trucks and maintaining equipment on a weekly basis. Seeking an individual who is outgoing and friendly to customers and a good attitude for customer service.

Your average day would consist of showing up to the yard/shop at 8:30am, daily inspection of the truck, and leaving the yard by 9am to begin collections in either a residential garbage truck or hook lift truck. As of now residential runs take around 8 hours or less to complete once you have a handle on the areas. You would then return back to the yard after dumping your load(s), fuel up the truck, inform of anything the truck may need, and sign out.

This is a fast pace work environment. Compensation will be based on experience and knowledge. Individual hired will be placed on a 90 day probation period.
