Primary Responsibilities
Operate breathing air trailers, MSA breathing apparatus and be knowledgeable about OTIS gas detection systems, Benzene monitors, NORMS meters and Fit Testing equipment
Set up and maintain Cape Energy Group equipment according to company protocols.
Demonstrate punctuality and professional work habits both in the shop and on-site.
Lead regular safety meetings, focusing on specific hazards.
Complete daily documentation, including vehicle pre/post-trip inspections, safety meeting checklists, bump logs, and pre-hazard assessments.
Maintain fitness for duty and adhere to all rules and expectations set by Cape Energy Group and/or clients.
Exhibit leadership in all job performance aspects.
Respond to emergencies as trained.
Operate company vehicles safely and courteously.
Ensure vehicles are in top working condition and kept clean.

Requirements
Local to Grande Prairie
H2S Safety Technician - minimum 5 years in this role, experienced in all operations from drilling to facility. If you have not worked in this specific role, you will not be considered unless you have well testing experience in the field.
Certifications: H2S, First Aid, CSO, Confined Space Monitor/Rescue, Wildlife Awareness, Gas Detection, Norms Awareness (optional)
Class 5 Driver's License (Non-GDL) with a current 5-year abstract
Technical Rescue and Fall Arrest considered an asset.
