THE POSITION:

An enthusiastic individual to join our Pastry Team at our Production Bakery in Mount Pleasant Vancouver.

This is a full-time position, Sunday to Thursday 4:00 am - 12:00 pm . Position requires Sunday availability.

You will be responsible for preparing (making, mixing, assembling, and rack oven baking) high quality artisan pastry products such as croissants, scones, cookies, tarts and more from scratch according to company recipes and procedures in a SQF and HACCP certified production bakery. Position also includes bread baking in deck oven.

THE RIGHT FIT:

You have passion for pastry baking and open to learning.
You have experience working in pastry production or you are a graduate of a professional baking program.
You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
You are physically able to stand and perform baking tasks for up to 5 hours at a time.
You can lift 20kg to shoulder height.
Must be able to work in varying temperature environments ranging from -18 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius.
