We are currently seeking a Home Support Worker to start immediately.

Client is a senior lady in her own home in Riverview NB. She has dementia and is recovering from a mild stroke.

It is important that we find someone who is friendly, compassionate, reliable, trustworthy & has integrity.

Must be physically able to reposition client in bed, transfer to and from bed to wheelchair/ commode.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

-Preparing and serving nutritious meals

-Personal care

-Companionship

-Laundering clothing & household linens

-Light housekeeping

-Monitoring blood pressure

-Client transfer in the bed, bed to wheelchair or commode

REQUIREMENTS:

-Fluent in English

-Mature female

-Police Vulnerable Sectors Check

-2 references

-Resume required

-Able to engage with client

-Able to cook main meals

-Work independently & as a team

-Able to take & follow instruction

- ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR VAPING ON PROPERTY!

-Face to face interview followed by a job shadowing

24-30 hours/week. NIGHT SHIFT & some days

$20/hour paid by e-transfer or bank deposit.

Hours are claimed through Social Development.
