At Footholds Therapy , we blend clinical expertise with compassion and hope, creating therapeutic environments where goals are met and both health and hope are restored. Our clinical team is made up of experts in fields such as Behaviour Analysis, Occupational Therapists, and Speech and Language Pathologists, all working together to support youth with complex needs, challenging behaviours, and neurodiverse diagnoses.

As a Family Support and Intervention Support Worker , you will play a key role in supporting youth in our center. This includes implementing therapeutic goals to promote independence and emotional regulation, and working with adapted, individualized academic programs that are aligned with each learner's developmental level. Our team adheres to Guiding Principles designed to meet the social-emotional and physical needs of each client, especially those with a history of trauma and challenging behaviours.

We're looking for aspiring mental health professionals who are eager to be part of this exciting opportunity and contribute to a new model of care aimed at positively impacting lives.

Qualifications:

Understanding of therapeutic models, behaviour intervention techniques, and mental health diagnoses.
Experience working with children and youth who have complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Preferred qualifications:

SIVA Training, MANDT, or Non-Violent Crisis Intervention.
A diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care, Psychology, or a related field.
