We are currently recruiting for a passionate and knowledgeable Business Agronomist at our Scandia location. The Business Agronomist will be responsible for providing agronomic guidance, building strong relationships with growers, and supporting sales and service delivery. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is eager to contribute to the success of our agricultural community.

Hours of Work: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5pm with seasonal changes in work load

Pay Range: $75,000+ annually, compensation will be competitive based on experience

Responsibilities include:

Deliver agronomic support and recommendations to growers throughout the growing season.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and product support.
Monitor crop performance and provide timely insights to optimize yield and quality.
Participate in grower meetings, field tours, and educational events.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, field observations, and product usage.

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualities:

Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) designation or eligibility preferred but not required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in agronomy or agricultural sales.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, customer-focused approach with staff and suppliers, as well as with existing and prospective customers.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
