Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to move, load, and unload materials safely.
Perform order picking tasks using a Warehouse Management System to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products throughout the warehouse as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and order verification processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
Familiarity with order picking processes and Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job duties.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols in all operations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
