What we are looking for

A Senior Analytical Chemist / Biochemist with extensive experience on developing assays on a Sciex triple-quad MS, including quantification of large proteins, and working in clinical laboratories with clinical samples. You need robust knowledge and experience in triple quadrupole MS, HPLC, and ICP-MS.

What you will be doing

You will be working with the newest Sciex 7500+ with QTRAP to develop assays, including quantification of large proteins.

Analyse specimens of blood, tissues and urine for biomarkers, proteins, lipids and metals using triple quadrupole MS and ICP-MS.

Design and build robust panels for quantifying multiple analytes simultaneously.

Work with other clinical and analytical machines as needed to analyse clinical samples.

Requirements:

Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or M.S. with 10+ years of analytical chemistry experience, with specialty in triple quadrupole MS.

3+ years experience in a clinical laboratory.

5+ years experience with triple quadrupole MS analysis of biological specimens.

Optional: 3+ years experience with ICP-MS (or similar) analysis of metals in biological specimens.

5+ years experience developing assays for quantifying large proteins in biological specimens.

5+ years experience building robust panels on triple-quad MS for quantifying multiple clinical analytes simultaneously.

Able to develop assays rapidly.

Hard worker, and highly organized and detail oriented

Is able to complete tasks on time
