Penfor Construction offers "turn-key" General Contracting for the construction of multi-family commercial and agricultural facilities. Our team will design, estimate and oversee complete construction, ensuring that the project is completed on time and on budget.

We are currently looking for a full-time Drafting Technician proficient in Revit to join our team. This position is based out of Blumenort, MB.

As the successful candidate, your duties would include:

Prepare preliminary and construction drawings, ensuring they adhere to best practices/local regulations
Develop conceptual designs using Revit and Twinmotion (or similar 3D rendering software)
Ensure that all designs meet code requirements and bylaws
Participate in constant collaborations throughout the design process to remain aligned with client goals
Simultaneously manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet various deadlines
Maintain clear and open communication with all project team members
Participate in client design meetings
Occasional site visits

Your qualifications should include:

Diploma in Architectural Technology
Proficient in Revit
3-5 years of experience in an office, on a jobsite or a combination of both environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Solid understanding of the NBC and municipal bylaws considered as asset
Experience preparing/submitting drawings for permit and construction
Comprehensive understanding of Canadian construction methods and practices in Agricultural and Commercial projects
