Job Overview

Bearcan is seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to oversee logistics, inventory, and purchasing for our construction material operations. This role is vital in ensuring efficient supply chain management, accurate inventory control, and seamless in-house delivery of materials to client job sites.

To be eligible for this position , you must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have a open work permit.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply and Delivery Coordination:

Plan and coordinate in-house deliveries of construction materials to job sites, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to anticipate and fulfill material needs.
Maintain clear communication with drivers and clients regarding delivery schedules.
Address and resolve any issues related to deliveries promptly.

Inventory Management:

Track and manage inventory levels, conducting regular stock audits.
Organize materials in the warehouse for easy access and efficient storage.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
Ensure materials are available to meet project timelines and avoid delays.

Logistics Coordination:

Manage inbound shipments and oversee the receiving process.
Work with the in-house delivery team to optimize transportation routes and schedules.
Ensure all shipments are documented accurately and comply with company policies.

Purchasing:

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure quality materials at the best prices.
Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement.
Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in logistics, inventory management, and/or purchasing, preferably in construction or related industries.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

A valid driver's license.

Education:

Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Monday to Friday
