Job Description: We are currently seeking a Part-Time Registered Dental Assistant to join our team in our Children's Department. The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children to provide high-quality dental care. The position is starting at 2 days per week, with the possibility of more hours in future.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures in the Children's Department.

Prepare treatment rooms for appointments, ensuring they are clean and well-organized.

Comfort and reassure young patients to alleviate dental anxiety.

Take and record patient medical and dental histories.

Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.

Provide oral hygiene education and instructions to children and their parents.

Perform chairside duties and assist with pediatric dental treatments.

Maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Dental Assistant certification in Alberta

Prior experience working with children, is a plus.

Cleardent experience is beneficial.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compassion and patience when working with children.

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
