Job Summary:

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this position will be responsible for assuring that purchased materials/products and processes meet all quality requirements as stated on purchase order. Working in close collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams, this candidate will be responsible for:

A. Ensuring that Latecoere Aerostrucrure Canada and our customers' product conformity and quality requirements are maintained through all steps of the Suppliers Manufacturing cycle.

B. Establishing a relationship with the supplier and managing the supplier quality through product audits, sourcing, coaching and mentoring.

C. Verifying that all critical to quality issues are assessed, documented and reviewed including timely resolution/mitigation of any related design risks, critical dimensions, critical processes or deficiencies found.

Essential Duties:
Review supplier documentation and prepare submissions to customers as required
Perform supplier audits and assessments on site or remotely
Monitor supplier performance and provide metrics; work with suppliers to improve product quality
Support receiving inspection by answering technical questions raised by inspectors,
Monitors parts in receiving to identify candidates for reduced inspection
Monitors quarantine area of receiving inspection
Perform source inspections at suppliers
Work with procurement to ensure flowdown of Latecoere Aerostructures Canada and customer requirements to supply chain
Support determination of qualification, probation, and disqualification of suppliers from a quality perspective. Actively participate in the supplier selection process and sustained supplier development activities
Lead the investigation, root cause analysis and resolution of quality issues that arise with suppliers
Liaise with and assist the customers' representatives to resolve customer inquiries and customer complaints.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to processes and procedures supporting the supplier quality role and responsibility.
Any other duties as required by Latecoere Aerostructures Canada

Minimum Qualifications:
2-3 years Manufacturing experience preferred or technical degree or diploma in manufacturing, quality, engineering, or related discipline
Proficient with MS word and MS Excel
Ability to undergo security clearance process for export controls: CGD, ITAR.
Detail oriented
Able to multitask and meet time sensitive deadlines
Ability to perform well under stress
Understanding of root cause analysis tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lead or be part of a problem-solving team
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
