Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction plumbing, with a strong understanding of various plumbing systems and techniques. This role requires a hands-on approach, working both independently and as part of a team on various projects, including new installations, repairs, and remodeling tasks. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Perform pipe threading, assembly, and heavy lifting as required for installation tasks.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete plumbing work.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding plumbing issues.
Experience
Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of HVAC systems is preferred.
Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing work.
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for projects.
Previous construction site experience is essential; maintenance person experience is also beneficial.
