Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and hand crafted food items. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Please note this is a long term, FT position. Fluent English a must. No students.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for cash handling and transaction processing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food and beverage supplies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and encourage repeat visits.

Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is a must.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
Familiarity with cashiering, cash handling, and POS systems is advantageous.
Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for coffee and food preparation is highly desirable. You must be fluent in English, and preferably a non smoker.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 40 per week
