Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Project Engineering Lead to oversee the Controls System team within an aerospace engineering environment. This role involves leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing program execution, and ensuring delivery within budget and schedule constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering execution for aerospace control systems projects
  • Develop and manage program EAC and resource plans
  • Forecast using MAT tool in collaboration with PP&C and PMO
  • Build and maintain program IMS; deploy earned value management
  • Prioritize engineering tasks and monitor performance metrics
  • Proactively manage risks and drive corrective actions
  • Lead remote teams and foster effective customer relationships
  • Adapt to changing systems, processes, and project scopes
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls Systems, Software, Systems Design, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 6-8 years of aerospace engineering experience
  • 3-5+ years of project engineering leadership in aerospace development programs
  • Experience with DO178B/C, DO254, and ARP4754 standards
  • Must be cleared for military development programs
