Position
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a leading company in the aerospace sector, located on the North Shore of Montreal, for a Quality Specialist - Permanent position, 40 hours/week - Salary between $75,000 and $85,000, depending on experience.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving the plant's quality management system, working closely with production, engineering, and final clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor quality indicators and collect customer data to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Produce monthly quality performance reports, including scrap rates, internal non-conformities (NCRs), labeling issues, and customer complaints.
- Perform statistical process control (SPC) analyses to identify process deviations, alert technical teams, and propose corrective actions.
- Manage documentation related to product criteria and manufacturing tools: update, standardize, distribute, and ensure full traceability of revisions.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality documents and tools are understood, properly used, and kept up to date.
- Maintain full traceability of any changes made to quality documents (criteria, cutting plans, routers).
- Optimize documentation workflows and actively participate in internal and external audits.
- Support other quality initiatives and projects as required by management.

Required Skills
- Proficient in SPC tools and statistical analysis for process control
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS 9100 or equivalent aerospace standards
- Comfortable with MDM systems (Master Data Management) and office software
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and structured work habits
- Ability to work collaboratively in a standardized and regulated environment

Your Profile
- College diploma (DEC) in science, industrial engineering, or a related technical field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance or document control in an industrial or aerospace environment
- ISO certification or quality training is an asset
- Strong understanding of customer requirements and technical documentation
- Comfortable with quality control and data analysis software

Working Conditions
- Annual salary: between $75,000 and $85,000 depending on experience
