Our client, a leading provider in the technology sector, is seeking a Field Technical Support Consultant to join their team. As a Field Technical Support Consultant, you will be part of the IT department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Field Technical Support Consultant

Location: Mississauga, Ontario. The role would be 3 days a week. Currently it is Tuesday-Thursday with hours of 7-4.

What's the Job?

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain and repair various types of assets, including computers, printers, and network equipment.
  • Ensure all tickets are created and managed in the ITSM system.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience as an Onsite Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Familiarity with various asset types, including computers, printers, and network equipment.
  • ITSM knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
