V-SHIP is a Canadian-based logistics and transportation services provider specializing in cross-border freight, e-commerce fulfillment, and last-mile delivery solutions for domestic and international clients. V-Ship offers a full suite of services including LTL/FTL, local courier, warehousing, and customs-coordinated freight forwarding.
Our client base primarily consists of overseas sellers particularly Amazon FBA and third-party e-commerce vendors requiring end-to-end logistics support for inbound inventory shipping, customs clearance, warehouse integration, and retail distribution across Canada and the United States. V-Ship plays a critical role in enabling these clients to meet strict delivery timelines, comply with platform-specific requirements, and navigate regulatory requirements from CBSA and U.S. CBP.
The Overseas Fulfillment Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and client service delivery for V-Ships cross-border logistics and warehousing clients, with a specific focus on Amazon FBA and third-party fulfillment sellers. This role bridges international freight, domestic distribution, and retail-style service execution, ensuring efficient movement of goods from overseas suppliers to North American end destinations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Plan and oversee daily operations for V-Ships overseas fulfillment clients, coordinating end-to-end logistics activities including inbound freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and last-mile delivery across Canada and the United States.
Manage service delivery for Amazon FBA clients, ensuring compliance with Amazon Seller Central requirements including labeling, packaging, shipment creation, and delivery appointment scheduling with FBA fulfillment centers.
Develop and implement operating procedures for warehouse coordination, freight consolidation, and client-specific fulfillment workflows using WMS and TMS platforms.
Supervise and support a team of logistics coordinators and front-line staff, including warehouse liaisons, dispatch personnel, and customer service representatives; assign duties, schedule shifts, and conduct performance evaluations.
Oversee customs and regulatory compliance, ensuring accurate HS codes, invoices, packing lists, and proper filing with and U.S. CBP.
Liaise with third-party carriers, brokers, and warehouse providers to ensure consistent service levels, cost-efficiency, and secure transportation capacity for domestic and cross-border freight.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery rates, order accuracy, inventory movement, and SLA compliance; recommend process improvements and implement corrective actions as needed.
Resolve escalated client issues related to customs holds, warehouse delays, or Amazon non-compliance; act as the senior point of contact for high-value clients requiring specialized service coordination.
Prepare monthly operational reports summarizing fulfillment metrics, carrier performance, service volume trends, and budget adherence for executive management review.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of logistics and warehouse-facing personnel; deliver hands-on coaching to ensure staff are proficient in system tools, compliance protocols, and client communication.
Manage budgets, control operational costs, and support financial planning related to international fulfillment service contracts.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory and safety requirements associated with the import/export, transportation, and warehousing of goods, including cargo security, data privacy, and contractual obligations with e-commerce platforms.

Qualifications
Progressive experience in logistics coordination, cross-border freight, or third-party warehousing, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Direct, hands-on experience managing Amazon FBA shipments including product preparation, shipment creation, labeling compliance, and scheduling via carrier portals or Seller Central is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of customs clearance procedures, including preparation and review of commercial invoices, packing lists, HS code classification, and familiarity with CBSA and U.S. CBP regulatory requirements.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to manage operational staff, resolve client issues, and negotiate service agreements with carriers, vendors, and warehouse partners.
Familiarity with North American freight logistics, including LTL and FTL practices, as well as last-mile and expedited delivery services across the GTA, Ontario, and cross-border U.S. corridors.
