About the Role: Under the supervision of a Principal and supported by an experienced team, you will provide comprehensive building intelligence design and engineering consultancy. You will be directly involved in Building Intelligence Readiness and Feasibility studies, Basis of Design and Output Specification generation, and translation of conceptual and schematic designs into executable technical contract documents, drawings, and specifications, including close coordination with other design and engineering disciplines. This position involves continuous learning as you progress within the group contributing to larger portions of the work and gaining total business understanding. - Gain invaluable knowledge regarding all primary building and built environment technologies and systems including, but not limited to, network, security, lighting control, BAS, digital metering, vertical transportation, audiovisual, digital signage, wayfinding, leak detection, visitor management, Real Time Locating and many more
- Gain direct knowledge regarding IoT applications and extrapolation of data in the built environment including, but not limited to, occupancy metrics, hot desking, hoteling, multi-head sensing technologies, beaconing, indoor air quality sensing, and more
- Use a variety of data analytics engines coupled with machine learning, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence to take actionable insights on building environments to maximize energy and resource efficiencies, operational efficiencies, decarbonization, and occupant well-being and satisfaction.
- Gain exposure to nearly all building and asset types and classifications across numerous verticals including international commercial, residential, retail, institutional, healthcare, airports, and transportation projects.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with consulting and construction
